We’ve finally reached the end of 2020, and for obvious reasons it wasn’t exactly a vintage one in terms of our cinema-going. Still, thanks to a busy start to the year, a brief re-opening in the summer and access to streaming services, we still managed to add a fair few new features to our watch list.
So, in line with our annual tradition, we present our quick fire review of every new movie we watched over the past twelve months. From Oscar highlights like 1917 and Parasite to December disasters like The Prom and The Christmas Switch 2: Switched Again, check out our thoughts on the good, the bad and the ugly of 2020 cinema.
If you want to hear our full reactions to every film discussed on this episode, be sure to sign up to our Patreon page, where we release a weekly bonus show featuring full-length reviews of every new release we watch. We also offer additional incentives including a regular promo slot where you can advertise your own podcast, business or venture on our main feed, extended episodes of our main show, crossover opportunities, the chance to pick a film for us to discuss on a future episode and much more, all for as little as $2 per month.
Next week, we’re kicking off 2020 proper with our traditional Pixar classic, followed by our 200th episode spectacular. We’ll tell you more about that very soon, but for now, happy listening and congratulations on surviving the past year. Seriously, you did good and you should be very proud of yourselves.
